SASKIE knits
This book is a deeply personal and special project for me. I wrote this during one of the hardest times. A year ago, I lost my soul bun, Saskatchewan. I struggled and lost my spark for designing. After taking some time to slow down and process everything, I read that writing helps with grief and so I tried putting my thoughts into paper. I decided to explore modular knitting construction, a way of designing that is different what I’m used to, while still incorporating my passion - colourwork and bunnies. And so, I wrote saskie knits. A book filled with patchwork colourwork designs, something completely unique from what you’ve seen from me. A book that encapsulates the grief of losing a soul pet. I hope that anyone going through the same loss knows they’re not alone. And I hope to keep saskie’s memory alive, one design at a time.
Saskie knits is designed, written, printed exclusively in Canada on sustainable, recycled silk paper.
The first print of saskie knits is now sold out! We are into the second print, which will ship in December 2025.

Saskie knits includes patterns for adventurous beginners to intermediate knitters. There are smaller accessory projects for knitters who want to explore colourwork and larger projects like garments for experienced knitters. Because the patterns are modular, it is suitable for advanced beginners who want to learn or practice colourwork skills.
